Dental X-Ray

Examinations and Consultations are provided for our valued patients during pre-scheduled appointment times.  We will address any of your concerns and discuss your needs, then a treatment plan will be presented and explained to you.

Cleanings are provided by our hygienists with the use of ultrasonic instrumentation to effectively remove deposits from teeth. Following this scaling procedure a polishing agent is used to give a high luster to tooth enamel. Home care instruction is offered for proper brushing and flossing techniques.

Sealants are protective coatings that are easily applied to the grooves and fissures on the enamel surfaces of healthy teeth. Sealing these areas prevents decay causing bacteria from invading the tooth.

X-Rays show the dental staff and the patient, problems

that may exist that are not obvious with visual

inspection. In our office we use digital x-rays.

These are computer generated images that appear on

monitors almost instantly and are an essential part

of every examination. The insert shows a small version.

Fillings for decayed teeth can be provided with different materials, including porcelain, composite, or gold.

Extractions - Most extractions can be performed in our office, however some teeth require surgical removal by a specialist.

Dentures - We strive to provide natural looking dentures using characterized gum material bonded to either porcelain or plastic teeth that best suit the patients needs.

Removable Partials are appliances used to replace a few missing teeth. They are constructed of plastic or a combination of metal and plastic.

Bite Guards are removable acrylic appliances that can be used for purposes such as teeth grinding or to relieve TMJ discomfort.

Crowns - Teeth that cannot be repaired with conventional fillings as described above can be crowned. There are several different materials we utilize for crowns.

Bridges are used to replace missing teeth. They can be removable or fixed. Fixed bridges are permanently attached to natural teeth, implants, or a combination of both. Removable bridges are not permanently attached and are inserted and removed by patients.

What are clear aligners?

Clear aligners are an alternative to traditional braces and orthodontics. Instead of using metal wires or brackets, clear, plastic aligners are placed over your teeth to apply consistent, gentle pressure and guide teeth into their proper position.

What types of cases do clear aligners treat?

Clear aligners are nearly invisible, minimally invasive, and treat a wide range of spacing and bite issues, including:

  • Mild-to-moderate crowding

  • Arch expansion

  • Underbites and overbites

  • Crossbites and open bites (when paired with other devices and/or procedures)

Millions of patients worldwide have successfully improved their smiles and dental health using clear aligners.

What are the benefits of clear aligners?

While most assume clear aligner benefits are purely cosmetic, they offer health benefits too.

Crowded and overlapping teeth make it easier for plaque and bacteria to accumulate. Over time, this can lead to cavities and gum disease. On the other end of the spectrum, too much space between your teeth can lead to gum damage, bone damage, and, in severe cases, loose teeth.

Properly spaced teeth are less likely to hold onto food debris and are easier to clean. This reduces the likelihood of developing conditions like gingivitis, endocarditis, and gum disease. Patients who complete their clear aligner treatments report higher levels of confidence and better dental hygiene.

Clear aligner treatments come with a 3-in-1 whitening and cleaning solution to help patients achieve their dental hygiene and aesthetic goals.

What is the cost of clear aligners?

Cost varies based on your insurance benefits and the number of clear aligners needed to perfect your smile. Your dentist may offer financing options and you can use your FSA and/or HSA funds toward your treatment.
